2023 Improv Jams

What's a jam?
Our Improv Comedy Jams are an opportunity for fans of improv to try something new, brush off the rust, polish your skills and/or to just have fun. Each Jam is different and will be led by a Blue Door Theatre Player.  The Jam leader may briefly introduce improv concepts or exercises but this is not an Improv class. It is a time to get together and have a good time.

who's this for?
Ages 18 and over.  Improv experience helpful, but not required.

what's it cost?
There is no cost but all attendees must participate. We are not above taking donations.

WhERE DO I SIGN UP?
No need to sign up.  Just show up by 7:00 pm to participate.

WhERE is it held? 
At the Blue Door Theatre at 815 W Garland Ave. Spokane, WA 
jams are:
  • An informal improv comedy gathering.
  • A physically safe space for all.
  • An emotionally safe space for all.​
jams are not:
  • Open mic, stand-up comedy, jazz, poetry readings, berry preserves.
  • Physical touch without explicit consent.
  • Racism, sexism, genderism, ageism, ableism, etc.
